Planner for 2023
I don’t know about you, but diaries and planners that I buy off the shelf never quite cut it in being aligned with my rhythm and needs.
So I designed my own.
Both the inside and outside.
I made this one at the beginning of January 2022 and at this new year (2023) realised that as it was getting more and more dogeared, it needed re-covering and the inside restitching.
2022 Planner
I’ve taken photos at most stages of the process.
I took off all the outer fabric and the inside cover sheets, remade the pen-holding part on the spine and re stitched the centre so that I can slip my diaries and notebooks into it. I’ve made the inside stronger and given it more slack so that there isn’t so much tension on the stitching as some of the stitches last year broke.
The inside cover this time is made from an old photocopy of a piece of old artwork instead of the white paper. It’s a lighter grade paper, but I think it works.
the inside sheets are attaached. Gone for pattern instead of plain paper this time. Reusing old printing
The pages inside the planner include my diary and integrate with my morning, evening, monthly, quarterly and annual habits and rituals. They will be the subject of another article. If you’d like to know when I add that, please sign up to my regular mailings (at the bottom of this page).
